Your profile & contact details
What teammates see about you — and how to withhold it.
Your profile is in two places, for two different audiences.
| Where | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Settings → Profile | Photo, name, job title, email, timezone and interface language. |
| Organization → People → Edit my details | Your directory entry: job title, pronouns, phone, location and an About. |
Only what you fill in is shown. Uploading a photo opens a crop tool — drag to reposition and use the zoom slider — or pick one of the preset avatars.
Hiding your contact details
One switch, Hide my contact details, in your directory details. With it on, your name, role and teams stay in the directory, and your phone, location and About are withheld.
This is enforced in the database, not by leaving fields off the page — a hidden field simply isn't in the data your teammates' browsers receive. You always see your own row in full, so you can check what you've published. And there's deliberately no admin path to edit somebody else's phone number: the directory shows what each person chose to share, and nothing else.
