Transcripts, summaries & action items

What you get after a call, and what flows into your projects automatically.

When a capture finishes, Noots processes it into things you can use.

  • Transcript — the full conversation, speaker-labelled and searchable.
  • Summary — key points, decisions and outcomes, with sections for main points, topics, speakers, speaker activity and concepts (you choose which to show).
  • Action items — the follow-ups, ready to become tasks with owners.
  • Ask — a per-meeting Q&A panel that answers from that meeting's own transcript and summary.

What lands in your projects

  • Tasks are created on the right board, with owners matched by email or name, and each task links back to the meeting it came from.
  • Risks are written into the Noot's RAID register, attached to the specific task they threaten.
  • Money explicitly stated in the meeting becomes a proposed expense that a person has to confirm.
  • Meeting notes are filed as a document on the relevant Noot.
Tip

Search inside a transcript to jump to the exact moment something was said — useful for "wait, who agreed to that?" moments.

If your workspace runs PHI redaction

The PHI Redaction Engine extension scrubs transcripts, summaries, action items, meeting-created task titles and RAID entries. It runs shortly after the meeting is stored, not before — see Healthcare extensions for exactly what it does and doesn't cover.
